Questions about the generator

Is the generator free?

Yes. There is no registration and no limit, and the codes do not expire: they contain only the payment details.

Is my data sent anywhere?

No. The code is created in your browser. Account numbers, amounts and names stay on your device.

Which format should I choose?

For payers with Slovak banks use PAY by square, for Czech banks QR Platba. EPC QR works for euro payments in most EU countries.

Why is there a frame around the PAY by square code?

The Slovak Banking Association requires every PAY by square code to carry its logo, so payers can tell it from other QR codes.

Is the code checked?

Yes. QRnava reads every code back with the same decoder it uses for scanning and shows it only if the details match.

How do I add a payment QR code to an invoice?

Fill in the account, amount and variable symbol, download the PNG or SVG and insert it into your invoice template (Word, Google Docs or your invoicing software). Print it at least 3 cm wide with the white margin around it.

Will the code work in my payers' banks?

The codes follow the official standards: PAY by square of the Slovak Banking Association, QR Platba of the Czech Banking Association and EPC of the European Payments Council, which banking apps in Slovakia and Czechia widely support. QRnava reads every code back before showing it.
